The Global President of the Ekiti State Government College, Unity Secondary School Ado-Ekiti Alumni Association, Mr Kayode Fashubaa has called on all sets of old students of the school to inbibe the culture of giving back to their Alma mater.
Fashubaa while speaking at the 30th anniversary of the 1994 set of the college said the gesture would complement series of projects embarked upon by the Alumni Association and the State Government.
The Alumni president who commended the 1994 set for carrying out the renovation and solar electrification of a block of 5 classrooms in the school premises said such steps would make the learning environment more attractive to students.
While describing the project as emulating, Fashubaa called on other sets to emulate the act of giving back to the school.
The colorful 30th anniversary celebration which was held in Lagos between Friday 12th and Sunday 14th April, 2024 was attended by a good number of members of the UNISSCA '94 Set.
The event also featured a beach party, election and inauguration of new executives, among others.
