INFRASTRUCTURE: EKITI RAAMP BEGINS IDENTIFICATION OF PROJECT AFFECTED PERSONS

 

Ekiti State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) has announced the commencement of enumeration of owners of farms and physical structures that would be affected by the construction of twelve roads across the State.

 

The State Project Coordinator, Hon. Sunday Adunmo, in a letter addressed to benefiting communities said the identification of Project Affected Persons (PAP) would be carried out between Thursday 16^th November 2023 to Tuesday 21^st November 2023.

 

Adunmo who hinted that the visit is aimed at identifying individuals who are affected by the construction, particularly in the areas of cash crops and physical structures said collaborative effort will ensure a smoother identification process and contribute to the successful execution of the project.

 

“I have the pleasure to inform you that the construction of rural roads in your community under the Ekiti State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) will commence soon. As part of the project implementation process, I write to inform you that our RAAMP team members will be visiting your community between Thursday 16^th November 2023 to Tuesday 21^st November 2023. The primary purpose of the visit is to identify individuals who are affected by the construction, particularly in the areas of cash crops and physical structures.”

 

“In light of this, we kindly request the presence of the prospective Project Affected Persons (PAPs) whose farms are along the affected road corridors during our visitation period. This collaborative effort will ensure a smoother identification process and contribute to the successful execution of the project”, he said.

The affected roads include Enu Odi Juction- Ita Eku-Igirigiri Road, Qmisanjana-Ben Folarin- Oke Aso road, Ikogosi-Aba Osun-Aba Oriokuta road, Oye-Ire Junction-Are Road, Afolu-Odofin road, Erinmope.- Irare Road, Ara-Ekameta School road, and Ilupeju -Igbo Egan-Ayede road.

Others are Iye-Iyapa-Olopomeji -Ikun Road, Igbole Egan-Iropora road, Ise Road - Imola-Abrabek Farm Road, and Owode - Anaye Road.
