Ekiti Commissioner Reaffirms Government's Commitment to Youth Development




Ekiti State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Gold Adedayo has reaffirmed the present administration's commitment to youth welfare and development in the State.


The Commissioner gave the assurance while playing host to members of the third Ekiti Youth Parliament in his office in Ado-Ekiti.


He highlighted parts of the administration's  stance to include engagement of youths in commercial agricultural practices,  development of sporting talent, engagement of youths in  profitable ventures and award of  scholarships  to undergraduate and post-graduate students.   


Mr. Adedayo urged youths in the State to key into government initiatives while stressing that the Youths have vital roles to play in the 6-point Agenda of the present administration.


Earlier in his remarks, the Speaker of the Third Ekiti Youth Parliament, Hon. Toba Fatunla who responded on behalf of the Parliament expressed his admiration for Governor Biodun Oyebanji's outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to youths development in the State.
