Ado-Ekiti Based NGO Sets To Graduate 100 Vocational Studies Trainees

Friday September 29th 2023 graduate another batch of 100 students from her vocational training centre in Ado- Ekiti.

The Founder of the humanitarian NGO, Princess Adenike Omotayo who disclosed this in Ado Ekiti said that the ceremony scheduled for Ajibade Gardens GRA,  Ado-Ekiti was part of intervention efforts of the foundation to reduce  poverty and unemployment by empowering unemployed people in the society with the three-month intensive training in Fashion Designing, Hairdressing ,Shoe and Bag Making, Make up and headgear  tying, Catering services and other vocations .

She hinted that the trainees would be  issued with certificates that would  enable them  to be gainfully employed in any part of the world.

Mrs Omotayo added that the foundation's gesture was to complement Government's efforts to lift the unemployed and other vulnerable people out of  poverty.

Omotayo hinted that the  physically challenged would be included in the third batch of the empowerment programme  that  would commence soon.

She added that the programme is a continuous one which is co-sponsored by Mr Shola Adeola Tajudeen's Cradle to Career Foundation.

Omotayo noted that the POAF foundation  had  earlier made its impact felt in Nasarawa, Taraba, and Kano States 

She solicited for more Sponsors/Partners nationwide and in the diaspora to support the Foundation in order to reach out and train more unemployed people in the society.
