IPMAN DIRECTS OIL MARKETERS TO SUSPEND OPERATIONS

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has directed oil marketers to suspend all operations across the country.

The Association in a statement signed by its chairman, Mohammed Kuluwa, also directed the marketers to suspend payment of ordering products from the source until further notice.

IPMAN seems to be making good its earlier threat of shutting down filling stations this week if the Federal Government insists on ahead to enforcing the N195 per litre price for petrol.

The Association had earlier stated that its members are selling at a loss.

According to the association; ‘’The decision followed the critical situation as it affect our sourcing and selling of product at lost and the action of the authority to impose the selling of product at a lost price on our side”.
