Ekiti state government has began rehabilitation of some damaged roads like Agric olope- Okebola Okeila - Housing junction in Ado Ekiti.
Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji who was on inspection tour where roads were constructed ascertained the level of work done so far as commendable.
Mr. Biodun Oyebanji who instructed the contractor to speed up on work before raining season also solicited support of the affected communities to bear with the state government in order to enjoy motorable roads.
Mr. Oyebanji reiterated commitment of his government to all the electioneering campaign promises and assured that infrastructural development would be prioritize to cut across the length and breadth of the state.
Earlier, one of the community leaders, Mr. Esan Joshua appreciated Mr. Governor for being proactive in considering what people might likely go through during raining season.
The contractor on site, Mr Fatukasi lauded the state government for the consideration of people in the affected areas and promised to deliver the road on time without further delay.
