By Editor

The Ekiti State branch of Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA) Alumni Association has said that its second quarter general meeting is aimed at examining financial opportunities for members of the Association.

According to a statement issued in Ado Ekiti on Thursday by the Publicity Secretary of the Association, Mr O'Seun Ogunsakin, the Association would discuss, among other things, the Alumni Cooperative Society which members can leverage on to set up their businesses.

The Publicity Secretary said the National President of the Association, Mr Oyekunle Adetoba would lead the discussion which is expected to assist members who desire financial breakthroughs.

Ogunsakin who urged alumni who have not attended previous meetings of the Association to make use of this opportunity stated that there are many benefits which members stand to gain from joining the Association.

He stressed that the vision of the present leadership of the branch is to build a membership which succeeds together.

"When we come together, we stand to gain a lot. Here, we do not look down on members for any reason. Some have decided not to join because they felt they haven't made success that can put them in the class of their colleagues in the Association. In reality, everyone needs somebody. We all need one another to succeed. Therefore, all AAUA Alumni in Ekiti State are expected to associate with us", he said.

The Publicity Secretary who said the second quarter meeting would be held on Zoom hinted that the Association would give out freebies to members who participate in the online meeting which comes up this Sunday, 11th July, 2021.
