The Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi has approved the appointment of Ms. Oludayo Olorunfemi as Executive Secretary of the Ekiti State Mortgage Board.
Olorunfemi, a legal practitioner, obtained her law degree from the University of Ibadan and was called to the Nigerian Bar in July 2003.
A member of the Body of Benchers Olorunfemi is the immediate past Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association, Ikere Ekiti Branch and Co -Vice Chair, Government and Public Interest Committee of the International Section, American Bar Association. She is also a member of African Women Lawyers Association and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria.
The Ekiti Mortgage Board is part of the Fayemi- led administration's effort at securing better life for the citizens of Ekiti State through provision of accessible and affordable mortgage services in the housing sector.
The Board will oversee administration of mortgage services and other ancillary developmental services with the aim of providing affordable housing for all in Ekiti.
According to a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Yinka Oyebode, the appointment takes immediate effect.
